Nintendo Announces First UK Pop-Up Store in London

Nintendo fans in the United Kingdom have reason to celebrate: the company has announced that a special pop-up store will open its doors in London for the very first time. The store will launch on October 22nd, 2025, at Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush, but it will only be available for a limited run.

During the initial opening week, from October 22nd through October 26th, entry will be ticketed. Fans will be able to reserve a slot ahead of time to guarantee access, with reservations opening on October 7th. After that, from October 27th until the store closes on November 16th, admission will be open to everyone via a standard queuing system. Nintendo has stated that all booking and ticket details will be made available through its UK social channels, along with a dedicated @NintendoPopUpUK account created specifically for this event.

According to the registration guidelines, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a Nintendo Account to sign up for tickets. Guests between the ages of 7 and 17 are welcome, but they must also have accounts linked under the same Nintendo Account family group in order to be registered.

Exclusive Merchandise and Zelda Presence

The store is set to showcase a wide range of merchandise, including items that have previously only been available in Japan. Naturally, The Legend of Zelda franchise will have a strong presence, alongside other flagship Nintendo series. With the continued popularity of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and its follow-ups, Nintendo is expected to feature products that appeal to long-time fans and newcomers alike.

It’s also worth noting that Nintendo has a history of celebrating major Zelda titles through special promotions and merchandise. Past events around releases such as Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity demonstrated how eager the fan base is for opportunities to connect with the series outside of the games themselves, and this London store should offer a similar chance to do just that.

A First for Europe

Nintendo already operates official stores in Japan—located in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto—and in the United States, where fans can visit New York City and San Francisco. The London pop-up will be the first of its kind in Europe, making this a significant milestone for European fans who have long wanted an official presence closer to home.

Key Information at a Glance

  • Location: Westfield Shopping Centre, Ariel Way, Shepherd’s Bush, London, W12 7GF
  • How to Find: Ground floor, directly opposite the LEGO store
  • Dates: October 22nd – November 16th, 2025
  • Ticketed Entry: October 22nd – October 26th
  • General Entry: October 27th – November 16th
  • Opening Hours: Monday – Saturday: 10am – 9pm, Sunday: 12pm – 6pm

Looking Ahead

The announcement has already sparked speculation about whether more Nintendo pop-up stores might appear in other cities across the UK and Europe. For now, London fans will be the first to experience it.

Will you be lining up for the grand opening, or hoping Nintendo brings the experience north to somewhere like Manchester’s Trafford Centre? Share your thoughts below and join the discussion on where Nintendo should head next.
